Hello!

Hi, my name is Michelle and I just joined this group. I’m 30 years old, married with no children. My mom, 53, was in a car accident last April and suffered a traumatic brain injury and a stroke. She was in a coma for 2 weeks and in rehab for 5 months. Since last April, I have only spent 10 days away from my mom. I became her caregiver the day of the accident and when she was released from rehab, she moved in with me and my husband. It’s been a long road and I’m just here looking for a place to vent and talk with others in similar situations.

Hello
I joined today and don't understand why there wasn't an acknowledgement to your post. So I wanted to reach out to say hello. I am so sorry to hear about your mother. It is really tough to be a wife, mother and caregiver. You did not say if you are working. And if so, bless you. Talk to your siblings and tell them you need help. I hope your husband is understanding and provides assistance and comfort for you. All the best!
