Wife’s TBI

My wife was involved in a motorcycle accident about 2 years ago that left her with a TBI. Anybody else in the Utah area have nobody to tak to about your situation. I would love to meet another TBI spouse caregiver. Dwayne

Hi, Dwayne -

Hi, Dwayne -

I'm Nichole, one of the staff here at Caregiver Action Network, I wanted to thank you for joining the Care Community here! I pop in as much as I can to say hello to folks and see if there is any way I might be able help with questions, etc. if others haven't had chimed in yet. :)

Connecting with other family caregivers is an imnportant aspect of support for lots of caregivers - it can help you feel less alone when someone can understand what you're going through because they've been here themselves, and you can learn from each other's experiences. If you're wanting to connect with other TBI caregivers in your area, you might consider reaching out to the Help Desk and seeing what support group options are available in your area, You can reach the Help Desk by phone (toll-free) at 855-227-3640 or by chat (click the orange Help Desk button on the bottom roght of your screen). The Help Desk hours are Monday through Friday, 8AM to 7PM Eastern but you can leave a voicemail - or your chat will be sent as an email - if you reach out during off hours. The Help Desk staff are amazing at getting back to folks within a business day or two.

Thank you again for reaching out and I hope some other TBI family caregivers come by to say hi soon!

Nichole
