Hai all, I am new to this place. I myself is my dad's caregiver. I am terribly down. I have been taking care of my dad so far and he was very much happy with that. It was last month that we had a family get together and my dad started using alcohol. He used to take that before but due to medicine intake, I anyhow managed to make him stop using that. It was last month that he started again and all my relatives are blaming for this as if I made my dad drink and like that. And it is really hurting and I am really down and depressed because of this. Will it be good to make my dad undergo an addiction treatment in this age? He is already under medicines for diabetics. Will it be safe for my dad to undergo this at this age?
