Hello. Unlike most of you, I'm not a caregiver, I'm the spouse of a caregiver. My MIL, 90 years old, recently fell, broke her hip, had two surgeries and Covid, and is now on day 45 of rehab. My wife is staying in her Mom's house (600 miles from ours) and is helping her every day in rehab. I'm kind of on the outside looking in, and want to support my wife fully through this phase. Can all of you very brave and selfless caregivers give me some input on the kinds of things that I could be doing, given that my primary role is to support my wife, not advocate for my MIL?
