I just had my mother with schizophrenia move in with me. I feel like I have taken on a second full-time job, getting her set up with new doctors and therapists. I thought having my mom live with me would make some of these things easier but it is causing so many difficulties with my job and even my relationship with my wife. I feel like I have bitten off more than I can chew.
I can say that you are in a very difficult situation right now. Have you thought of hiring a caregiver for her?
