Hi, my first visit here. Being caring for my husband for many years, but for the last 5 years it has been full time. How does everyone cope with the loss of your personal life?
This is probably going to sound difficult, but I feel that just embracing and enjoying the "little things" with your husband can make it a lot easier. If there's a particular phrase he loves to use or some action or thing he loves to do (which probably wouldn't involve a lot of activity assuming he's old). These "little things" tend to be huge points of gratification in reifying both your love for him as well as a point of cherishing your relationship, making it easier to get by.
