Hello,
I am a caregiver to my spouse, who has End-stage Renal Disease. He has been on dialysis for 2 years now, and has been chronically ill with Diabetes-related illness for the last 11 years. I decided today to join an online support group, so here I am! Any others here with spouses on dialysis? My husband receives hemodialysis 3 times a week, at a clinic.
I have adult children, that live in the home with me, and we are all in this together. It is stressful, but, we take it one day at a time, and do the best we can to keep my husband's mood up, and each others' mood up as well.
I am looking forward to getting familiar with this site, and helping others as well!
