Hello All,
I just started taking care of my dad a year ago Thanksgiving. I have to say It's the best thing that I've ever done and the hardest. I'm single, no kids. I always knew that I'd be the one to take on this roll. My dad is so easy to care for and the most stubborn man I've ever met. When people say you have to step outside the box at times, I didn't picture this. I'm so set in my ways and on a schedule that adding someone into the mix has been a BIG adjustment for me. Even after a year I still overwhelmed at times. I can't even imagine what my dad thinks (man of few words). I guess I'm just looking for a community that will help support and give encouragement to each other.
