Caring for 80yo father

Been caring for my dad since July 2016, knew what i was signing up for but didn't realize after 2 yrs it would turn out being stressful. April this year I needed having a heart attach was in hospital for 5 days. Lucky it wasn't serious they put a devib in my chest.

Since then I still do everything plus more. My health isnt like it was before April, yet my dad still go's on like nothing happen. I am more stress out finding myself yelling, more cox he can't hear very good. No patience anymore, get little time for myself.  

Guess what i wanting to know is how do i deal with this since my health isn't what it once was. 24/7 i am with my dad and he has become so helpless yet he still can do stuff on his own.

How do i handle this stressful father?

I can relate to having your
I can relate to having your own health issues to deal with in addition to having to be a caregiver. I know people often say "you have to take care of yourself first," but often don't know what that demands. I am lucky that my dad has a tight nit church community that I've learned to call upon to fill in when i need to visit a do tor, run important errands and so forth. Once in a while i am able to get family to just fill in so I can sleep -- although I do get the sense they think I'm being ridiculous. If you have any friends or family you can get to help you out, even occassionally, that will help you do what you need to do for you tremendously. I feel for you and wish you the best!
