My parents had to be admitted to a facility in the summer of 2020. My dad's in assisted living and my mom is in memory care - they are both in their 90's. Spent the summer taking care of them and then getting them into the facility. Such a terrible experience that I would not wish on my worst enemy. Had some help from local government agencies but always got conflicting information, was never sure who to believe. Most of my immediate family is not very help. Would really like all of this to go away, want it to be someone else's problem.
Feel like I'm the only one on the planet that is going through this. I don't have a home computer but come to my local library. Would like to connect with others who are going through the same thing, would like to not feel so alone in this situation.
