Marvell brings over 20 years of experience serving caregivers and older adults. He has held leadership roles, including CEO of a large life plan community and COO within the Kendal System. Marvell is a skilled dementia care coach and a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in caregiving. He has earned numerous recognitions, including LeadingAge NY Administrator of the Year and Forty Under 40. Marvell also serves on boards like LeadingAge and Pioneer Network. He lives in Baltimore, MD, with his spouse and three children.
Jason Resendez
Jason ResendezPresident & CEO, National Alliance for Caregiving
Jason is a nationally recognized family policy expert and advocate. As President and CEO of the National Alliance for Caregiving (NAC), he leads research, policy, and systems change initiatives to transform how America values and supports its 63+ million family caregivers. In 2023, Jason was named one of the most consequential leaders in health and medicine by STAT News.

Prior to joining NAC, Jason was the founding executive director of the UsAgainstAlzheimer’s Center for Brain Health Equity where he pioneered the concept of Brain Health Equity through peer-reviewed research, public health partnerships, and public policy. In 2020, Jason was named one of America’s top influencers in aging by PBS’s Next Avenue alongside Michael J. Fox and former Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy. He has been quoted by The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, STAT News, and Univision on issues related to caregiving and healthcare. Jason is from South Texas and graduated from Georgetown University.

Congressman Paul D. Tonko is an eighth-term member of the U.S. House of Representatives, representing New York’s 20th Congressional District in the Capital Region, including the cities of Albany, Schenectady, Troy, and Saratoga Springs.
Mary Bono
Mary BonoCofounder and CEO, Mothers for Awareness and Prevention of Drug Abuse (MAPDA)
Mary Bono’s career in politics and business is marked by her significant contributions to the U.S. House of Representatives and her advocacy for various social issues. Mary Bono’s non-profit work is deeply rooted in her advocacy for addiction prevention, treatment, and recovery.

She is the co-founder and honorary chair of Mothers Against Prescription Drug Abuse (MAPDA), which aims to raise awareness about the dangers of prescription drug abuse. Bono’s efforts have been instrumental in co-creating the Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention Caucus and chairing hearings on the opioid abuse epidemic.

Her work has been recognized with the Distinguished Graduate Merit Award from the University of Southern California. Bono’s commitment to these causes continues to influence and inspire many in the fight against drug abuse and addiction.
