my name is Esther and I am caring for my mother,margaret, who is 84,and is very frial and is unable to care for herself. She has been this way before my dad died. As an only child,I have been caring for her for 2 years.Thank God that I was old enough to retire to do this....I was a special education teacher for 15 years. I moved in with my mother as she is not a social person and a home was out of the question, she worked for the home for 30 years. My husband comes and sees me every Wednesday. He drives 60 miles to do this. He has been very patient and does what he can to help, not many husbands would be. We are planning to move here in the near future..but moving from a larger house to a smaller house is difficult. My husband packs and brings up loads to me each time he comes.
