I had to laugh when joining this site. It did not give and option to put 2 people you care take for. I am Tracy. 47 years old, mom to 4--(24,21,20, and 11) and married to my high school sweetheart, Darrin, aged 50. I have been the caretaker for my son since birth--the 21 year old--he has autism, global developmental delay, hypotonia, Long QT syndrome, motility disorder, Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome, and is tube fed. My husband was diagnosed with MS in 2005.He also has a seizure disorder. It was a shocking diagnosis--we truly thought he had a stroke. His MS has been very progressive and he has trouble with cognitive functioning, walking, etc. I had to quit work in 2011 because his symptoms made it unsafe for him to be home alone...and my son was frequenting the hospital.
So, I am stressed. To say the least. I worry about money, paying bills, getting Christmas...you name it, I worry. I am on medication but don't feel it is working as well. I love my family very much, but am overwhelmed with everything. I just look forward to chatting with people who get it.
