Hi all-
I am a 59 year old married woman caring for my 92 year old Mom who lives in a small cottage 20 yards from my house. I have been her sole support last 10 years. I have 4 sisters but the closest one is about 2 hours away and the other 3 are far away. Up until the last 3 years, my mom has been quite independent with me not needing to do much more than check on her every day, take her to doc appointments, and fix issues around her house etc. The last few years, however, she has declined significantly and the caregiving requirements have increased as she has fallen many times and is quite frail now. I have many questions for you all and am grateful to be here.

im also new and solecaregiver of my boyfriends mom. She has parkionsons. She needs a walker to get a around and constand supervision when walking. I understand howyou feel asthe only care giver. Any help i can provide i will Noreen
