Tyler Scheid

Tyler Scheid | Lawyer & lead policy analyst at the American Medical Association

Tyler joined the AMA in 2016, and he is the AMA’s subject matter expert on prescription drug and electronic prescribing standards and policy. He serves as the AMA’s primary staff representative at the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs, where he represents physicians’ interests in the development of pharmacy-related standards. Tyler has served as the project leader for the AMA’s annual Prior Authorization Physician Survey since its inception in 2016. He also leads the Federation Administrative Simplification Workgroup, which convenes staff from state medical associations and national medical specialty societies to discuss practice revenue cycle and payment policy issues.
