For many families, caregiving is rooted in love, loyalty, and a strong sense of responsibility to family.
However, even with this deep commitment, caregivers often face obstacles that make the journey more challenging.

Barriers to Healthcare Access
Economic disparities play a major role. According to the Pew Research Center, typical non-Hispanic White households have 5.2 times the wealth of Hispanic and 9.2 times the wealth of Black households.
These differences can delay access to timely screenings and treatment.
Many caregivers also struggle with limited access to adequate healthcare due to language barriers, lack of insurance, limited transportation, and language differences, all of which contribute to later diagnoses and more complex care needs, as well as significant financial strain.
