Medication Management & Treatment Adherence

From the moment of diagnosis, caregivers often become the central organizer of the treatment journey—keeping track of appointments, managing medications, and ensuring their loved one follows complex treatment plans.

You may be responsible for administering oral medications or reminding your loved one to take them on time, as well as monitoring for side effects and reporting any changes to the healthcare team.

Because leukemia treatment can involve frequent hospital visits, infusions, or lab work, caregivers are also often tasked with scheduling, transportation, and making sure their loved one has the support they need before, during, and after each visit.

Caregivers have a direct impact on treatment success and patient outcomes.

Your care and attention are what keep everything on track and give your loved one the best chance at healing
