Understanding Autism from Within: Webinar on Trauma-Informed Care for ASD

Have you ever been curious about how your loved one with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) sees the world? How do they feel when you take them to doctor appointments, or even when no one will listen? Have you ever wondered what you could do to make their life easier for them? Join us and Embodied Labs‘ Clinical Development Specialist, Nancy Edwards RN, BSN, as we take you into the mind and eyes of an individual with ASD.

During this training, you will embody Kate, a 26-year-old language-abled woman on the autism spectrum, during a traumatic medical appointment and experience how it feels to be consumed by emotional dysregulation (a meltdown) and the positive power of trauma-informed care practices. We will share tips for caring for your loved one to ensure they have the best experience possible.
