A daughter who is in a hurry to get to work is trying to remind her mom that she had given her breakfast.

The mother believes that she has been served someone else’s dirty plate. The more the daughter tries to remind her that this is what she always gets for breakfast, the more frustrated and agitated the mom gets.

In her eyes, the daughter is calling her a liar.

On the second try, the daughter acknowledges what her mom is saying, apologizes, slows down, gets on her mom’s level, speaks calmly and kindly, and brings her something different that she knows her mom will love. The mom happily eats her breakfast.
